Fender American Custom Limited Edition Troublemaker Telecaster owned by The Darkness (Gibson Les Paul Tele)

This is an absolutely incredible custom Fender Troublemaker special ordered by Dan Hawkins of The Darkness and then further customized by legendary luthier Andy Guyton, who makes the official Little Red Special guitar for Queen's Brian May at a starting price of £10,000. This limited edition Fender Troublemaker was an extremely rare model, with this particular example being built by Fender's top builders for The Darkness as what a Gibson Les Paul would be like if Fender made one - after all The Darkness are famous for being Les Paul players and have been with Gibson throughout their career! It was built with a mahogany body and neck with Gibson style rear covers, Gibson style bridge and stopped tail piece, and Gibson Les Paul control 4-knob & pickup selector layout. After Dan took delivery of what was already a very special and valuable guitar made for him by the top guys at Fender, it was then sent off to Andy Guyton where it was transformed into the most unique and epic Fender guitar on the planet. The neck humbucker was removed and filled to add weight, improve balance and bring the guitar even closer to feeling like a Les Paul. The four Les Paul style knobs were reduced to a single volume knob for the bridge humbucker, which was replaced with a boutique British custom shop Bare Knuckle Nail Bomb with custom face and chrome radiator housing. This killer pickup then had the pickup selector converted into a kill switch with a custom poker chip crafted for it. A custom pickguard was also crafted for the new pickup configuration. The body was shaved and contoured on the left side so that the edge would not cut into Dan's arm whilst at the same time giving it a vintage roadworn relic look! You now have the ultimate custom 1 of 1 Fender that was finished off by the luthier that builds legendary guitars for Queen. There is only one of these in the world, and it's the price of an everyday Rolex Daytona. This guitar is infinitely cooler than a Rolex Daytona. 

Not only is this an incredibly valuable guitar in its own right, but it has been the sound behind a platinum selling rock band that MTV, VH1 and Classic Rock Magazine have all recognized as having produced one of the greatest rock songs of the 21st century! This guitar came to us directly from The Darkness guitarist and founding member, Dan Hawkins. Our studio's producer & engineer James Curtis-Thomas actually mixed "The Age of Darkness" bonus track on the Motorheart album. This is an investment quality Fender guitar from an iconic band with multiple BRIT awards, Kerrang! awards, MTV awards, Metal Hammer Golden God awards and more...for the price of a new Rolex watch. I'd rather have this, and I know I'd have more fun with it. Full provenance and signed COA included. We also have the band's 60th Anniversary Gibson Custom Shop 1960 Les Paul Reissue V2 that was used for the guitar tones on their latest album "Motorheart" which they are now touring across the UK and Europe! In addition, we have two of the band's Wizard amps used for recording/touring, their short-scale Fender Mustang Bass used for the last record and their Gibson SJ-200 acoustic guitar featured in the famous "Christmas Time" and "Friday Night" music videos!
